有酗酒問題的單親母親留低子女於快餐店，最後被發現倒斃於其工作酒吧外的後巷之中，屍體被大雪覆蓋，頭部有明顯傷痕，死因被判斷為意外失救。10年後，死者的妹妹得知死者臨死時曾跟一班無良的大學生在酒吧中發生爭執，因而向舊同學兼舊情人韋尼克求助。調查發現，死者工作的酒吧是大學生聚集的地方，其中一名大學生曾對死者表示過好感但遭拒絕，有可能因而懷恨起殺機。 不過原來死者曾是警方的線人，將酒吧內的黑暗交易告知警方，因此亦有可能被揭發遭滅口。最可惜的是死者本來是溜冰好手，當年的萬人迷最後因酒精的毒害，一夜間失去了家庭、尊嚴以及生命。

少女追求刺激，流連酒吧勾搭中年男人。如此放蕩荒唐，遲早自食其果。終於，命案發生，死者卻是和少女打得火熱的中年漢。死者是受槍擊，傷口卻不是由一般槍械所造成。鑑證組人員能否找出這件不尋常的兇器？死者頭部的傷痕，少女的證供，行兇的神秘兇器，究竟哪一樣才能指證出兇手的身份？
探員從中央公園的湖中，打撈起一具屍體。死者身上並無身份證。從死者的衣著推斷，死者既可是流浪漢，又可是有錢人，身份成為疑團。死者對海鮮有食物敏感，探員卻發現他死前曾進食龍蝦。另一方面，探員追查得死者女友下落，其口供卻出爾反爾，她是否就是兇手？
Short Synopsis:
The witness to a brutal elevator slaying has disappeared, and as the CSIs track her down they uncover the world of Manhattan “Lolitas,” young girls who trawl for older men, never thinking of the potentially murderous consequences. Uptown, a body is discovered in the boat pond in Central Park, and as the CSIs investigate they discover that the victim has two identities from two very separate worlds. Powerful evidence points to a six degrees of separation scenario gone horribly wrong.
Long Synopsis:
A man in his 40’s waits for the elevator in a posh apartment building. A young woman, pretty, looks early 20’s, stands nearby. No apparent connection. The elevator doors open and they both enter. The man and woman tear at each other’s clothing the second the elevator doors close. As the elevator stops, they part, grinning lasciviously at each other. It’s going to be a fun night. Or perhaps not. The doors open, there is a thunderous crash and the man is thrown back, his chest exploding in an eruption of blood. Mac arrives on the scene and determines the seemingly obvious: that the COD was shotgun blast to the chest at close range. But what’s not so obvious is the weapon that made the wound. Ballistic inconsistencies point to a previously unknown weapon, possibly home made. Mac teams up with Flack to determine what common item could have been altered enough to kill a man, while evidence imprinted on the skull points Danny toward to the victim’s ongoing feud with another real estate developer. Lindsay concentrates on finding the young witness to the crime and discovers the disquieting social world of “Manhattan Lolitas”. Young, rich and pampered, these girls feel too sophisticated for high school boys and instead turn to older men, inflaming jealousies and panicking parents. All of this leads us to wonder: was it the victim’s taste for high school girls that ultimately got him killed?
Over in Central Park, Hawkes dons scuba gear to retrieve a body from the bottom of a small lake. COD is revealed to be anaphylactic shock: the victim ate something that didn’t agree with him. But if the death was accidental, who tied the body to a barricade and threw it in the lake? A larger question is raised by an examination of the victim’s clothing. Holes in the socks and cheap shoes point to a homeless person while a tailored shirt and Rolex suggest he comes from money. There’s no ID on the body so the question remains... who is this guy? Our CSIs discover the reason for the inconsistencies was that the victim was not who he claimed to be. How many degrees of separation are there between our DOA and his assumed identity, and why was he killed? The trail leads Stella and Hawkes through the world of Manhattan’s elite who close ranks when threatened and evidently don’t take kindly to social imposters.

The mantis shrimp uses high-speed karate chops to smash its prey to bits. The trap-jaw ant can bite and and snap its jaws closed in 0.0003 of a second. The programme also follows the mysterious noctural activities of a troop of baboons who retreat into an underground cave at night. Amazing footage reveals what they get up to in the pitch dark. Fortunately, technology cannot reproduce the smell!

In the ultimate jungle stake-out, scientists have been using undercover surveillance technology for the last 70 years to uncover incredible revelations about the tropical forest and its inhabitants. From above, within, and even underground, the forest is analysed from every angle by gizmos any secret agent would be proud to possess. Thermal cameras pick out animals designed to melt into the foliage; multi-flash cameras freeze the spectacular aeronatics of bats catching fish; and ultrasound microphones eavesdrop on otherwise inaudible hunting calls. Even the trees are under surveillance. Without the forest canopy, none of the animals would exist. So to really understand how the forest works, even the plants and trees must come under scrutiny. Two hundred thousand of them have been intensely monitored for 30 years in a 50ha3 area of the forest. 成吉思汗(1162-1227)，名鐵木真，世界著名的軍事家，1271年元朝建立後，被元成祖忽必烈追尊為元太祖。1206年，一統蒙古各部族，建立蒙古帝國，即位為成吉思汗，意稱擁有四海的大汗。及後，繼續征戰，進攻金朝，佔領當時稱為中都的北京；又滅西夏、西遼和花剌子模政權，攻至現烏茲別克、土庫曼、烏克蘭一帶。1227年於賀蘭山病逝，當時的蒙古帝國包括蒙古高原，中國西北、東北、和華北的一部分，以及中亞、西亞大部分。其子孫在其基礎上，東征西討，使蒙古帝國成為人類歷史上，陸地連續領土幅員最廣闊的帝國。
成吉思汗後裔眾多，調查估計全球共有1700萬人是其後人，當中或包括英國皇室、前伊朗皇室，亞洲人中有8%是他的後裔。最近一個基因測試證實，美國邁亞密大學一個教授是成吉思汗的美洲後裔，是亞洲以外首個獲證實的成吉思汗後人。
2006年是成吉思汗成立蒙古帝國800週年，蒙古人民共和國舉行大規模慶祝。電影界亦對這位傳奇人物情有獨鍾。反町隆史與《男人們的大和號》的監製合作，於新片《蒼狼：直至天涯海角》飾演成吉思汗。《蒼狼：直至天涯海角》改編自日本作家森村誠一小說，講述蒙古族始祖是一隻從天而降的狼，與雌鹿誕下了成吉思汗。成吉思汗長大後捲入部族爭鬥。片中還描述了他和多位妻子和兒女的關係。
淺野忠信則夥拍俄羅斯大導演Sergei Bodrov (《熊之戀人》(Bear’s Kiss)(2002))，拍攝Mongol。淺野同樣飾演成吉思汗，造形長髮及腰，在戲中要唸蒙古語對白。影片在蒙古取景，製作費達960萬美元，預料2007年上映。

Since childhood, Chen was determined to help farmers everywhere get out of poverty. Chen established the Known-You Seed Co. in the 1970s. Known-You has become the world's largest watermelon seed supplier, exporting over three million dollars worth of seeds annually, and it is estimated that one-fourth of commercially produced watermelons are grown from the seeds of Chen's hybrids.

Under the glimmer of a full moon, the CSIs encounter a strange case, even for them. The team is surprised to learn that a victim shot down in the living room of his rural Las Vegas home is more than just a little hairy- he’s got a pelt. The hairy victim is brought back to the lab where Dr. Robbins explains to Grissom the particulars of Hypertrichosis, the genetic disease that has caused the victim, killed by a single silver bullet, to display excessive hair growth and apparently be mistaken by his killer for a real life werewolf.
The CSIs begin the intricate process of piecing together the wolf man. They discover that despite his abnormality, he lives a relatively ordinary existence; he is engaged and even has an online gambling problem, racking up $10,000 in unsettled debt. The gambling leads the CSIs to their first suspect; a disgruntled Internet Casino owner who has sent the victim threatening emails urging him to pay up or else. However, Catherine soon discovers there was more going on at the victim’s den. She and Sofia go back to the scene of the crime for another look. There, they discover the victim’s twin sister living in self-imposed exile from the outside world. Afraid that she might have to testify in court and face scrutiny as a courtroom sideshow, the sister refuses to tell the truth about her brother’s murder.
To get to the bottom of the case, the team must turn its attention to the other three people in the vic’s life: his fiance who was no where to be found after the death; the best friend whose fingerprints were discovered on a rock thrown through the vic’s window; and the vic’s mother who abandoned her monster children by faking her own death.

Michael Bailey is a rough and tumble sort of bloke with absolutely no sense of romance. In three days, he intends to propose marriage to the woman of his dreams but his lack of self confidence and questionable manners are a huge roadblock.
Mike has a heart of gold but his first attempt at proposing marriage was in front of the TV! And it didn’t go over very well.
Mike now has one more chance to pop the question only this time he’s got to get it right. That means a romantic dinner for two at a high end restaurant. But is he up to the task?
On the agenda for Mike’s transition…
First there’s Mike’s wardrobe: if he’s going to win Anne’s heart, he’s going to have to propose in something more elegant than ball caps and wrinkled t-shirts.
Mike’s also got to work at expanding his food repertoire which now consists mainly of junk food and everything deep fried.
Mike’s teeth are his biggest physical drawback, he’s so self-conscious about them that he rarely smiles.
Mike may need help on the outside, but on the inside, he’s got the makings of true gentleman. He’s a great boyfriend, he takes care of his granny, and he’s a great father to his son Dustin. But while he’s been taking care of everyone else in his life, there’s one person he’s forgotten – himself.
Mike’s job here is to work on his fine dining skills, expressing his romantic feelings, and his appearance – particularly that smile…
One of the basics of true gentleman-hood is to take a lot of pride in one’s appearance, starting with clean, pressed shirts.
Mike, despite his good intentions, needs a total makeover in the romance department. So I’ve called in my associate in matters of the heart Asha Daniere, to speak to Mike’s girlfriend Anne and give us the inside track on their relationship.
Anne’s verdict is the same as ours, Mike’s low self esteem is the root of most of their problems. Anne insists that she thinks Mike is great the way he is, she just has a hard time convincing him of the same. She mentions that his biggest insecurity is his smile.
Sounds like I’ve got a bigger problem to sink my teeth into. Time to call in my expert in matters of the mouth…
And so the first in a series of dental visits…to make Mike’s teeth gleam in time for his big proposal. While I read three year old magazines, Asha is still getting the goods on Mike from Anne…
Anne seems overall happy with her relationship with Mike except when it comes to the romance department. She writes him love letters a lot and reports that she has yet to receive one in return…
Oh Mike! So Asha’s putting him to the test. His tools: a pencil and some sheets of paper. The task: write Anne a love letter that will knock her off her feet.
Tomorrow we’ll find out how that goes over – but for now there’s still an awful lot of work to be done.
Looking good is one thing, but Mike must learn to behave like a gentleman in order to gain confidence in himself. Mike’s next challenge will take him well out of his culinary comfort zone. Today we’re encouraging Mike to try something different.
Mike’s resistance to change is definitely frustrating to Anne so his attempt at trying something new to impress her is really sweet, even if he’s a little hesitant to start.
When it comes to fine dining, first things first Mike…no ball caps at the dinner table. He is a trooper though. Caviar, oysters and brie and, to his surprise, he made it out in one piece.
Now that Mike’s palate is up to par it’s time to do something about his dreadful wardrobe! But before that, he has a little shopping to do with Asha.
A beautiful invitation to dinner is what they’re on the hunt for and Mike passing with flying colours when he finds a simple yet elegant that ties in one of Anne’s favourite things, angels.
Next stop, a rendezvous between Mike and fashion expert Melissa to turn Mike’s look from rags to riches. Mike’s a handsome guy, he just lacks the confidence to pull off super style. I have no doubt that Melissa will be able to bring him out of his shell.
Well, the wardrobe challenge may be out of the way, but Mike’s got a long way to go before he gets his thoughts down on paper for Anne.
Mike’s frustration about writing the letter has affected all his lessons here at the gentleman’s academy – bringing him almost to a boiling point…
Before it gets to that point, it’s time to give Mike a little reward for all of his hard work so far. He needs a boost to his manly confidence, so I’ve brought him to meet a friend of mine: Joe Smith, formerly of the Boston Red Sox…
Alright Mike, enough fun & games, it’s time to get back to work. Now the big moment where we really get Mike ‘straightened’ out. Not his attitude, but his teeth...
Mike’s time at the gentleman’s academy is almost at an end. His dedication to this program has really proved his loyalty to Anne. Will Mike’s love letter be the key that opens Anne’s heart – for marriage?
Drum roll please…Anne receives the love letter and tears of joy stream down her face. Well done Mike!!!
Michael Bailey used to be a strictly sweat pants and ball cap sort of bloke. But today he graduates from Gentleman’s Academy appropriately groomed…
And it’s time for dinner and the big moment!!!
Mike looks amazing and he’s actually following through with all of the dining rules I shared with him. Anne is glowing and her reaction to his new smile has made the entire experience worthwhile.
Mike still has one big challenge – asking the woman he loves to marry him – and this time – it’s for real!
All right Mike, let that wine give you courage for the big question. Mike’s a man of few words but he gets straight to the heart of the matter.
And the verdict is…yes!!!! Yes!!!!

It is the story of Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a world-weary ex-freedom fighter who runs a nightclub in Casablanca during the early part of WWII. One day, to Rick's great surprise, he is approached by the famed rebel Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) and his wife, Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), Rick's true love who deserted him when the Nazis invaded Paris. She still wants Victor to escape to America, but now that she's renewed her love for Rick, she wants to stay behind in Casablanca. "You must do the thinking for both of us," she says to Rick. He does, and his plan brings the story to its satisfyingly logical, if not entirely happy conclusion.
